Yesterday was a very productive day. Today I am moving a little slower, but as the afternoon wears on I am sure I will gain momentum. Had a rough late afternoon yesterday. Cory refused to take a nap, he was too busy playing in his new room and exploring his new found freedom from his toddler bed, and he had been crying/whinning/pulling on me for 2 hours straight by the time the bus dropped the kids off. I was exhausted from getting the house cleaned, in addition to Cory's little fit. I watch Taylor and Sereah get off the bus. But no Natalie. I ask them if Nat was on the bus, they said yes. Sereah said she told Natalie to get off, but she wouldn't listen. So, I call the school, who calls the bus garage. Their side of the story, Natalie was fast asleep. The bus turns around and drops her off. She said she was too tired to get off the bus. All of this was going on while I was cleaning/cooking dinner. It was a rough time. LOL.

Lots to do today

Cute pic, huh? lol. I need to get some pics of the girls. Morning is lovingly refered to as morning madness around here, and then the girls aren't home until after 4pm.
I have a to do list a mile long. I wish I could cut some corners, but I have been cutting corners and it is now catching up with me.
I've been slacking on my morning devotions. Waiting until later in the day, or more than likely, waiting until evening when I do my evening devotions. Then the list is long and a bit overwhelming. So I have reading to catch up on too.
Well, I better get off the computer and actually start moving. :)

I don't like titles. :)

I've been feeling very under the weather. I was in so much pain, despite taking 3 advil/4 times a day, that i called Barry home to watch the boys so i could take a nap. I ended up calling my ob yesterday, and he was suspicious of an ectopic, or at the least a miscarriage. I went for blood work this morning, and the preg test is negative, so more than likely I am just suffering from fibroid issues. I need to call and get an appt for an u/s to verify fibroids.

Yesterday, as I was waiting for barry to come home, i put cory in his crib for his nap, and i go lay down in my bed. I hear a toy going off that i KNEW was not in his crib. I didn't hear a thunk, so i thought hayden was up playing in cory's room. so i get up, to go send hayden to the corner for playing in cory's room, but when i get to cory's room, the crib is empty!! and it was HIM who was playing with toys!! so i plopped his butt back in bed and stood there and watched, to see if he would climb out in front of me. (he climbed out before, about a month ago, but i removed all toys and extra from his crib and it seemed to work for a few weeks anyway) and sure enough, he popped his foot over the rail (think nose to knee, ouch!), and up he hoisted himself on the rail, like he was riding a horse, and he shimmied down the corner, and took off running. so when barry got home, i had him bring up the toddler bed, but cory didn't want anything to do with that bed. bedtime was hard. it took him over 2 hours to finally fall asleep, and not without a lot of rocking, snuggling and crying on all of our parts.

I'm an emotional shopper, and the emotional baggage I carried around since the phone call from the ob last night was unreal. Thoughts of an ectopic and how they go about fixing that issue just didn't sit with me, but dying really didn't sit well with me either. So, to pass the time while I waited to call the lab to find out results of if I needed to head into ER or not, the boys and I went to saginaw to go shopping. i ended up buying cory a new toddler/twin convertible bed (to help justify my purchase. we don't have a twin bed for when cory is ready for one, so i just jumped the gun on buying one!!). it is a race car!! he was so tickled, i bet he peed his pants! lol. i peaked in on him when it was silent in his room for awhile, and he is sound alseep on his pillow, right on his new car bed. he looks so old sleeping on a big boy bed. ack! my little baby is growing up!

oh! the kids know what they are for halloween now too! just in time for trick or treating at the camp ground this weekend! the boys are big furry dogs, and the girls are matching princess'. not a disney princess, a big, wire skirted big girly princess. i don't have pics of the girls yet, but the boys love pretending to be dogs. cory even crawls on the floor and goes 'wuuuf wuuuuf.' sooo cute!

It is such a brisk, fall day here today. I just love it!! Taking Hayden to preschool this morning, admiring the reds and oranges and yellow trees. And some of the leaves are starting to fall. For some reason, falling leaves as I am driving down a woody street is just so serene and peaceful. Beautiful. Thank you, God, for this wonderous day!
